And while you're at it, give me half your salary too, since I'm clearing half your shit for you.

If its the other way round, and I am the pathetic soul drowning in the mountain of paperwork, do you think those people are gonna lift a finger?

Nahhhhhhhhhhhh.

Kids, the corporate world ain't a fairy tale land where Cinderella is gonna pop by the office any minute in her lovely gown and pumpkin, asking you with a smile if you have seen her glass slipper in the lost and found section. Truth is, Cinderella is gonna sashay to the counter (think fake blond streaks, array of dragon tatoos and a bulging tummy hardly concealed by her micro top) and demand for her glass platform slippers which she left in the toilet after whacking Snow White on the head for sleeping with her Prince Charming.

And because you sway sway on duty and your job is at stake, you have no choice but to smile politely at Cinderella and tell her that nobody has seen or smelled any smelly slippers around. You also have to politely refrain the urge to spit in her face that you are not the toilet cleaning lady and that no one in the right mind will want some ah lian's ugly and smelly slippers.

And of course, no matter how demure and customer orientated you are, Cinderella will blow her top in rage and expose her sugically implanted mammary glands and hurl all kinds of obscenities at you as well as the whole of your family tree. You keep your cool and try to seek help from your colleagues only to find that all of them would rather die eating poison apples or pricking their fingers on a spinning wheel (or both) than to get themselves entangled in a war with Her Majesty.

In time, you'll soon succumb to the fury and you unleash your greatest weapon and shield - your boss. He/She comes out, kisses Cinderella's feet furiously in a bid to ask for forgiveness and tries to appease her by.......... buying her another pair of slippers...............using your salary.

Cinderella is happy to have new slippers of course since her old ones are smelly liao so she smirks and tries to act like she is coerced to accept such an offer. The deal is closed. The storm blows over and she struts out like she owns the goddamn place, into her smellier onion carriage dragged by hyenas.

And the next day, The Little Mermaid will sashay in and demand her voice back.
