Its a she-ghost. And her name is Mel (read: yours truly).

Plan to go IMM was a flop (cos of the rain, the long queue and Damien's nagging) so we headed to Swee Lee instead as our first destination. D-rank mission - to check out his dream Thunderbirdie Bass.

But the look of disappointment in his eyes was apparent because the bass wasn't exactly what he was looking for (so heartbreaking). Also, i could almost hear his heart shattering when we were told that Swee Lee had actually imported the Thunderbird basses in their latest shipment but all of them, except this one, was sold. *Ping Ping Piang*

Ah well darling, this gives you more time to save up for your dream bass eh? (read: buy less CDs and DVDs for the next few months!) ^.^

Our next stop was to the Bugis tem.ple - for him to pray for a smooth course in his job and mine to pray for good health and safety for my family, including the stupid dog. And of course, I had to go Sim Lim, although all i wanted to buy was just DVD-Rs which could easily be bought anywhere. The ghost of Sim Lim strikes again! (if you're wondering why i'm the ghost of Sim Lim, its because I'm a female and apparently no one takes notice of the female species in SLS).

Anyway, we scoured the whole of SLS, in search of the best deal for DVD-Rs which is quite funny, because they really don't cost much. But well, it's just a habit and character of mine. ^.^ Damien did a couple of hilarious things too which i shall not mention here, lest he'll be really angry with me (and with himself for being so silly! ^.^) Anyway, managed to get a pack of 25 TDK DVD+R for about $25. Errr.. well, its like the cheapest i can find so i assume it's an ok price, since this is my virgin attempt at buying DVD-Rs! Hee :P

Anyway, DVD-Rs look so boring. I saw many cute Imation and Benq CD-R designs (I like the Benq basketball one!) but none cutesy designs for DVD-Rs. Hey I'm a girl, so I'm attracted to all these ok!

Then we went shopping. Like really shopping and not window browsing. Damien was shopping for a lap top bag while i had to shop for a wallet for Joanne because my dog chewed up her wallet. Sigh. I feel like killing Alex sometimes.

Halfway through, i got an SOS call from William. Apparently Mohan and him were at PV and they needed help for a major clean-up because the drainage jammed yet again. We couldn't make it, so i sent out smses to the usual PV people but none of them could make it either. Couldnt stop thinking hows the situation there though....... :( Hopefully, i don't faint when i reach there tmr.

Anyway, my first burning project to test if my DVD writer was working turned out to be a huge success. I managed to play the CD-R on my DVD player and watch my first few Bleach episodes on TV. Yippppeeee! (i can almost hear my hard disk rejoicing too! :P) But i couldn't try it out with my DVD-Rs yet though... gotta find a good converter before doing anything... and that's partly what I've been doing from 1 am til now (time check: 4:53).

Been a great day nonetheless, though the thought of waking up a tad earlier to vaccuum the floor still ain't very appealing. Why must I be stuck with a dog who sheds like crazy? Tsk.

Oki, its reaching 5am now and i really have to force myself to sleep else i won't be able to wake up and finish the household chores before heading for PV (and thus be nagged to death by my mom). And if i really do get nagged to death, i want a pink furry coffin. And someone better find a good home for my dog! *choy choy choy*

0 spanks on my perky butt.:
